Hong Ji Claypot Bak Kut Teh @ Marsiling

I'm not really a fan of herb soup base bkt but I decided to give it a try.

I had never heard of this place so I went to do a little google about them... and found out that their website (link) is quite cute. For a hawker centre food, they even have a online menu for you to see! You can check out their menu (link).

I always like the peppery ones (when I go then I'd share with you!) but this one, really isn't too bad too.

Here's a pot of meat without those intestines etc for 4 people to share. (with their soup refillable)

Not too bad, I don't really like this but I tried a piece.

The total bill for 4 people with each a bowl of rice was only $27. It's true that the others are pretty expensive because the one I went before cost you $7 for a bowl of bkt. But whatever we ate was only $7 (rounding it up) per pax. Usually when I go the ones I went before it'd easily cost me $20/30 for 2 people for the side dishes and bkt.

They are located at:
Blk 19 #01-329
Marsiling Lane
Singapore 730019
(They do have 4 other outlets in Yio Chu Kang, Ang Mo Kio, Geylang and King's George Avenue)

Operating hours: 8am - 9pm

Great Tuesday night spent!

//Thanks Hong Kai for the ride to & fro!
