I use to like only the peppery Bak Kut Tehs but now I'm starting to like the herby ones too. Recently went to try out this stall located at 439 Joo Chiat Road, Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh. As you can see it's a pretty long queue and we waited for about 20minutes before we got a table.
So for 4 pax, here's what we ordered.
Ice jelly drink. With really little water and full of jellies.
Here's the main lead, bak kut!
Ordered the large portion, there were about 8-10 bak kuts.
*slurps* pig intestines
Awesome egggggggg. Nothing goes wrong with egg.
I would say 20 minutes is definitely worth the wait. ;) would go back there again definitely.
For those who drive, there's a angst uncle that would repeat at least 3 times telling you to move your vehicles after you finishing eating and you cannot park your vehicles at their premises and dine somewhere else, he will clam your wheels.
Other then that, everything else is fine.
Each of us spent about $14 for all the above food. It's not too bad actually.
