Cafe: 49 Seats @ Kreta Ayer

From the website and other reviews of 49 seats, it looks like a really nice place to dine in. The ambiance looked cozy and the food looks good. We decided to give it a try after work and made a reservation for two! (I guess if you don't make a reservation then you might have to seat outside by the road!)

When we got to Outram station, we took the H exit towards North Bridge Road (if i haven't remember wrongly). It was just a short 5 minutes walking straight and the moment we saw the road side Kreta Ayer, it's just right infront of us after turning right. You wouldn't miss the place because it has super a prominent banner.

We had a hard time trying to decide what to eat because everything looks delicious! We had 2 mains, 2 drinks and decided on a waffle as dessert. (recently I'm really on this waffling craze!) Total bill was about $40 plus which we paid about $23 each. The best thing I love her? Their nett prices! Hahaha.

So you see, you won't miss this banner for sure.

As you can see... all the tables are mostly reserved. Know what I mean now if you don't, you'd be parked outside. (Unless you prefer eating by the roadside)

Reasonable prices!

I thought this was kinda small portion but it turned out alright.
$3 per cup.

Went ahead with seafood marinara even though I'm not a big fan of tomato, but this is good.

Their famous tom yum pasta! Not bad, the tom yum is just right, not too light. not too strong.

The waffles were surprisingly decent although the ice cream was really average.

Definitely a delicious dinner we both had and I'd go back for more in future! Next I'd want to try their new menu, smoked duck or try their tomyum fish and chips!
