French: Senso Ristorante & Bar

Thanks to my generous colleagues whom were promoted this year, we got a free lunch at Senso Ristorante for lunch.

It was a fixed set lunch menu of the day hence we only had a couple of choices to make. There were about 18 of us hence we were given a private dining room. The entire restaurant feels really posh and cozy. Even the toilets looks like one that you expect in any 5 stars hotel. Don't be fooled by the humble exterior of this building cause you'd be surprise to see how beautiful the interior is.

Super long table across the room.

A specially prepared menu for us to choose.
Set lunches are at $40++ for a 3 course meal

Breads are complimentary and I particularly liked the one that looks like a stick.

Grilled Mushrooms Bruschetta topped with Mozzarella Cheese

Pan-seared Halibut Fish with crushed Ratte Potatoes, Chives, grilled artichokes and Tapenade sauce

Honestly, this was awesome.

Definitely worth paying the additional $6 for this. (well, I didn't pay for it though.)

Hot Dark Chocolate Eruption served with Passion Fruit and Vanilla Ice Cream

Lemon Custard, Lime Meringue, Lemon Sorbet and Crumble with Red Berries

Of course this wasn't mine. Just by looking at the 'ingredients' you know I will never choose this.
But according to my colleague we had this, she said it was awesomely, sour. Lol!
So if you're major fan of sourish stuff, please take this.

I'm not too sure about per pax dining here as the bill wasn't footed by me. Of course I would come back here only if I'm feeling a little rich. Definitely not my kind of daily-food-to-eat but once in awhile to pamper myself, the lava cake will bring me back here.

Great for anniversary lunch dates. :)
