We wanted to go premium outlet but ended up at reptile cafe and totally loved our decision! Although I was expecting more interactive between you and the reptiles and I saw on an old blogpost dated back in 2014 showing people taking photos with huge snakes over their neck.... but, well it totally didn't happen and initially the owner was quite rude.

We were kind of excited upon arrival (first time at a reptile cafe) and we started to roam around. Well, she showed displeasure and told us that we can only walk around AFTER we placed orders for drinks. So okay, fine we took orders for drinks and then.... that was it. She never offered to show us some reptiles, never offered to take some of them out to let us try to carry or play or whatsoever. Completely none.

Nonetheless, we entertained ourselves and had fun. We arrived at 1100 and were the first customers. By the time we left it was almost 1300 there was just another 2 other locals in the cafe.

The reptiles were mostly lazy and sleeping. Only a few are active. Overall, I think you might want to try other cafes in other perfectures. However, if you don't mind just having a feel of how it feels near to these cold blooded reptiles, well it's just 800yen. :)

Oh and yes, there's a smell once you step into the cafe. But after awhile you kind of just get used to it.

Some Taiwan very diluted tea. Lol.

Sun-tanning in progress.

Lazy fatso.

MV Shoot.

They looked like they were conversing.

Attempted selfie with him failed... so here's just a selfie of him.

天下寿司 @ Ikebukuro

Address: 1 Chome-40-5 Nishiikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tōkyō-to 171-0021, Japan
Nearest Station: Ikebukuro
Spent: 1,000yen /pax

We were famished after the reptile cafe and by the time we found this sushi place... we gobbled up everything even before we remember to take photos. Anyway, tried conveyor belt sushi and trust me, they are so much better than what you get in Singapore's conveyor belt.... hahahaa.

I just have to post this because this tamago is the biggest I've ever eaten! And I had 2 servings of this hahahahahaha.

Swallowtail Bulters @ Ikebukuro

Address: Japan, 〒170-0013 Tōkyō-to, Toshima-ku, 豊島区Higashiikebukuro, 3 Chome−3−12−12 正和ビル
Nearest Station: Ikebukuro
Spent: 4,000yen /pax

Unfortunately, they do really have very strict rules on no mobile phones and photographs to be taken. You must, MUST book online prior coming to Japan. It was fully booked when we were there.

There were at least a good 12-15 butlers at one point of time. Well, we went for the high-tea slot and we have 80 minutes dining time. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of the Butlers. They will bring you into their cafe. So first thing, they will take your bag, your shopping bag, your coat and everything else that you can take off hahahahahah. Your coat and shopping bags will be locked in the locker, your bag will be carried in by the butler.

You're not to sit down on your own, because the butler is suppose to pull the chair out for you and push you in as well. Not forgetting to lay the napkin over your lap. Our poor butler was so stressed out because he had to speak in English. Unfortunately, their English is... not that good but of course basic ones are fine. Thank god for me, my fellow traveler is able to converse in Japanese.

We chose the high-tea set which consist of tea or if you choose wine, that's just 200yen top up, and so we did. Red wine for me, white wine for her. You get to choose flavored scones with your choice of 2 jams. You also get to choose between sandwiches or quiches. Lastly, you also get to choose between 2 types of dessert which I can't recall.

The food was really good. (I'm not being biased because got handsome guys but no, really they were good.) Usually for theme cafes, their food will always be just..... mediocre, but Swallowtail was awesome. Oh, and if you need to call for them, there's a bell on the table for you to ring. Honestly, we had a hard time doing it because it's just so embarrassing and awkward.

You'd probably ask me if all the butlers are drop dead gorgeous. My answer to you is, no. Hahahahahhahahahahaha. There's only this ONE and ONLY one that caught me eye and unfortunately he wasn't serving us.

In any case, given a chance I will head back again because the entire experience was good! And if you are heading there, you-have-to-try-it!
