Cafe: Flock Cafe @ Moh Guan Terrace

A busy weekend morning with Flock Cafe entirely packed. We had no choice but to grab a seat outside without air con. Though a sunny day but thankfully it was bearable to be seated outside.

Genmaicha Latte $6.50
Something for a change other then green tea latte, this was surprisingly refreshing and so far this is the only cafe I've been that serves this.

And I always go for Scrambled Eggs & Salmon $17 whenever it's on the menu. Really happy with my Salmon that morning. Not too salty and was perfect with my croissant.

Something really sweet for the morning keeps your sugar level checked for the day. Banana French Toast with Bacon $15

If you're staying the west, drop by this cafe and you'd be pleasantly happy with your food. Though I'm not in the west, I traveled about 1.5 hours to get there, it's kinda worth it. Of course, I had something else to do in the west else I won't really take a bus and grow some mushrooms all the way there.

Still, nett price is a plus point. Worth a go! :)

Waffles: Fat Cat Ice Cream [Bedok]

A quiet little joint in Bedok serves you awesomely good charcoal waffles with salted egg yolk sauce. Paired it together with their beer ice cream... splendid. You just have to try this waffle if you haven't. The cafe's kinda small so you ought to queue if you're going on busy peak hours.

I went after my lunch on a weekday at about 1:30pm? Almost full. The cafe probably can only house 20 pax max? Well, just try and go on a off peak to try it out. Even if you have to queue, I guess it's worth 15-30 minutes of your time. Anything more than that? Come back another time :)

$11.50 for ice cream, salted egg yolk sauce and the gourmet waffle.

Original normal waffles which was equally good, but of course charcoal was better with pistachio which I also enjoyed. $9.50
