Scissor cut scissor Curry Rice @ Jalan Besar

About 3 years ago when I started working whilst waiting for my university application, my ex colleagues brought me to this place that was nearby our office. I was then working at Kitchener Road and walking over was just a couple of minutes.

I've previously gone to Sin Chie Toke Huan Hainanese Curry Rice and in that post I mentioned that I'd share with you when I come here! Here I am for the awesome curry rice. (thinking about it now makes me hungry too.)

It doesn't have a fanciful shop front but one thing you'd always see is a queue. No matter what time you go it'd always have a queue. Fear not, the queue usually moves very quickly so even if just a short wait of 15 minutes, I'm telling you it's definitely worth it.

They are just located by the road side so it's kinda impossible to miss them.

Here's the menu for you to choose. Usually when I go I'd definitely take the cabbage, pork & chicken chop and Michael personally loves the pork belly. (I'm not a fan of bellies so no go for me.)

This is the black pork chop (because the normal ones ran out)

Chicken chop is a must every time you come here!

Super good pork belly that Michael gobbled them up!

It's true, it doesn't look tasty at all but it's good. Really.

Looks kinda messy and all over the place but I'm telling you, this is the most best thing ever. The sauce, the gravy together with the rice.... It's just heavenly. You can ask for more sauce if you dine in but not take-away. (most of the time they are really generous with their sauce so I never had to ask for more)

For all the dishes you saw there it was $32, which I find it reasonable for 4 people though. If you haven't tried it, you ought to! :) It's probably the best in town.
