Symmetry: Sunday all day brunch

Finally, I'm back to this space. I've been away for a little while preparing for my examinations and there.. I'm done! I'd try to complete up my drafts that I've saved up over the past few weeks to catch up on some blogging. Feels good to be 'carefree' without examinations. (you don't know how stressful it feels.)

Well, enough of crapping. Below's the first new post to welcome myself back! (hahahahhaa)

This is my second trip to Symmetry and man, I was pleasantly surprised at the menu upon arrival.

If you're heading over for dinner, click here.

The first time I went was on a weekday night with the dinner menu, but this time I went on a weekend, Sunday to be specific and I've gotten myself a all day brunch menu! (I love all day brunches!) It came as a surprise as I wasn't expecting a brunch menu.

Here's the brunch menu! We even asked to double confirm just in case they gave us the wrong menu.

Flan, $23. Looks like a small serving but it's actually quite filling. It's a right portion and plus, it's delicious.

Truffle Egg Mushroom, $21. I really love the mushrooms. Not too filling, but it's good too.

Smoked Salmon Croissant, $20. This-is-awesome. You gotta eat this. Portion was just right for me.

Big breakfast, $24. Indeed it's a big breakfast, filling and nice.

Portobello Benedict, $19.

I'd definitely choose the Sunday brunch menu anything time over Dinner. Though I loved the alcoholic drinks we had, but this Brunch is way better and more affordable.

Lenas @ Tampines 1

Every single restaurant located in the malls of Tampines usually have mad queues during dinner time. So of course it was the same for Lenas. We arrived at about 6:45pm and waiting for about 15 minutes before we got a seat for 2.

LENAS is based on a modern American Italian restaurant. Their menu have crispy Italian thin-crust pizzas, pastas, flame-grilled beef, grilled chicken, lamb rack and pork ribs and you can pick side dishes of your choice. It's a really open concept, pretty spacious but not much privacy. Lenas is opened by MOF too. (I love the Jap's MOF by the way.)

We were seated right at the corner of the restaurant so here's a 'overview' of the entire restaurant space.

Here's their current promotions!

I had a pretty hard time trying to decide what to order. Everything looks pretty yummeh. So in the end I went ahead with pasta.

It should be about $14/$15, I can't recall the amount.

Portion is just right, not too bad. There's no wow factor, but tastes alright.

Grilled chicken with cheese. This should be $16.90 (which was alot more worth it then mine because the portions was so much bigger with the sides)

I didn't like the wedges though, it tasted rather flour-y

Overall, I think this is just a normal restaurant, nothing too wow nor too bad. If you need a quick fix for western, you can drop by here. :)
